Hi, I’m Gabe.
I’m based in California, and am an early career Writer and Narrative Designer. After receiving my BA in Communications in Los Angeles, I decided to throw myself fully into gaining new experiences by living abroad. I moved across 3 countries over 4 years, working a variety of jobs including farming in Australia and becoming an actor in a year-round haunted house in New Zealand.
Following my years working in Oceania, I moved to the UK where I lived for two years. I got my Master’s degree in Marketing during this time and began sneaking my love of creative writing into my dissertation by researching how people view mythology and folklore in brands. When I moved back to the United States, I dove headfirst into marketing roles while simultaneously furthering my love of creative writing by creating a collection of short stories as a passion project.
Fortunately, I dipped my toe into the waters of game writing at an indie studio around the same time and found it was exactly what I was looking for. Working creatively in a team brought me to life, and I began devouring anything I could on the topic of writing for games. I have since worked on solo game projects and helped assemble and manage teams of varying sizes to pursue this passion.
My experiences have shaped me into a welcoming, friendly, and understanding person who knows he has a lot to learn (and always will). I can laugh at myself, set my ever-diminishing ego aside for a project, and love nothing more than to help create meaningful stories.
When not pursuing these passions, you can find me rock climbing, hiking, or dreaming of travel!
